How to setup SMS Vote apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
SMS Vote Description
Have your very own election using your mobile phone. You can define candidates and allow others to vote via SMS. Incoming messages with their candidate will be automatically tallied by the application. It's as simple as that. You can use this in school elections, pageants, contest, or just want to have a poll.Best of all it's FREE!
To use just add a candidate, say "Daise".
Others may vote by sending an SMS with the key word #name or #daise. (name is in small letters) Once received it will be counted as a single vote.
Results of the vote can be shared to facebook.
Permissions:
• RECEIVE_SMS: Allows the app to receive an SMS vote
• READ_SMS: Allows the app to count a vote using an SMS
• SEND_SMS: Allows the app to send an SMS campaign
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: App configuration.
