How to setup SmallTown: WiFi Social Network apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
SmallTown: WiFi Social Network Description
SmallTown allows you to expand your LinkedIn network and create new connections in Wi-Fi zones. Create a custom profile or sign in using LinkedIn. Browse profiles of those around you, chat, exchange contact and create new LinkedIn connections.Great for conferences, events, offices - anywhere there's a decent Wi-Fi network. Users can skip the business card collection step and directly discover others and connect on LinkedIn using SmallTown.
SmallTown shows users present in the current Wi-Fi network in the "Town Hall" screen. Users encountered over time are saved and presented in the "Town Folk" screen. To create a LinkedIn connection, first "Chat" with the user, then use "Contact" to exchange email addresses and then use the "LinkedIn Connect" function from their profile page.
SmallTown Chat happens over your current Wi-Fi network. No chat data is sent to the internet, so all Chat data is ephemeral. Chat does not use your email, phone number or any other IM id. So your contact information is protected.
SmallTown efficiently communicates over Wi-Fi broadcast, so please make sure your Wi-Fi network supports that.
